As a school principal I have instilled this in my students, as a professor it is the basis of my course development and research, as a consultant it is the message I share about education and school leadership, as a citizen it is my lived experience.

Over a career of 39 years, Terry has taught at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels. He has held principalship positions in both primary and secondary schools, and was a principal in two schools in Australia before taking up a position at Jockey Club Ti-I College in Hong Kong SAR China, where he was the principal for 7 years. In addition to his work in schools, he is an Adjunct Associate Professor in Educational Leadership at the Education University of Hong Kong.
